Monthly update?

Hello to everyone that still checks this site, hoping for an update! Things have been super busy here, with trips to Texas and Massachusetts back to back. I've got about 1000 photos to sort through, plus an hour or two of video to edit. Hopefully I'll get to the photos soon; the video editing will take a while longer. Jackie had her two-month doctor appointment yesterday, and weighed in a 10 pounds, 13 ounces! Hooray!

I've posted some photos that we shot on 9/16/07 ("Baby Bear" under Jackie's photo section). I'll post photos from the Texas and Massachusetts trips soon. Honest!

Chocolate

Hi everyone. So I tried wafting the scent of chocolate by Jackie today, and I got the biggest smile! She started licking her lips too. Apparently she's a big fan.

I added two new photo sections for Jackie, and rearranged the baby photos by month. The new one under "First Month" is called "Facebook", and there's a short one under "Second Month" called "Crabby". I have one more section to upload, which I'll hopefully get to in the next few days.

Videos

Hi everyone,

After three nights in a row of hamburgers and hotdogs (all free and from different sources, no less), I found the strength to upload videos of Jackie to the website. To keep strangers from downloading them, we've put passwords on them, but send us an email (hello@fleaandcompany.com) and we'll give you the password. Don't forget to install Stuffit Expander and Apple Quicktime (see the Software page under Files)!

Fun with Joanna and the Wii

Jackie and Tiffany spent Labor day weekend with Aunt Joanna from Texas. Jackie enjoyed playing the Wii all weekend with Joanna. She especially likes playing Wii Sports and Donkey Kong, but Tiffany needs to watch out for glasses when playing because she smashed one while bowling. It was the first real Wii accident, and hopefully the only Wii accident we will have.

In other news Tiffany and Jackie will be heading to TX on September 22 to stay for just over a week. Don will be joining us the following weekend.

Finally!

Finally, we've posted new photos! The new ones are listed as "More Jackie Photos" in the Baby Photos section. Sorry it's taken so long, things have been busy! We actually have more to post, so I'll try to get to that later in the week. Until then, take care!

Tummy Time!

Jacqueline has been having tummy time lately and she continues to show us how smart she is. She is an amazing floor climber and is working on making her legs even stronger. She has learned to turn her body in a circle like the hands of a clock; her head stays fairly stationary while her feet and legs do all the turning. She can also lift her head 45 degrees and turn it from side to side. She is just amazing! And if she learns to lift her upper body with her arms then she will be crawling in no time; she has the leg part all worked out! We'll keep you updated about all of Jackie's wonderful feats.

There and back again

Hello everyone,

Sorry for the lack of update in 15 days, things have been busy. The long and short of it is that Jackie had to be hospitalized twice, first because she had lost 11% of her birth weight by 7 days (a little more than usual), and then because she wasn't regaining her weight well. Things look ok now, but the doctors will still follow her closely. Anyway, I'll post more photos later this week. We've just gotten home from the hospital, so there's a lot to do around the apartment!

Welcome home Jacqueline Frances!

Hello everyone,

Jacqueline Frances was born on Wednesday, August 1st at 5:15 PM. She weighed 7 pounds 1.2 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. I'll write more at a later time, but for now, you can check out some of the photos we've taken. The new photos are on the "Baby Photos" page under "Photo Gallery".

Baby bureau

So I think I might be talking only to myself here, but I'll keep writing anyway. I took a few photos of the "nursery" (ie the left side of our bedroom) this weekend, for those interested. Oh, and so much for that idea I had about making the downloads easier. It turns out the program I use can't do what I wanted it to. Back to the drawing board.

Finally, an update!

Hello to anyone that happens to be reading this! Things are moving along well with the pregnancy, and the baby is due sometime in the next two weeks or so. I added some photos of Tiffany (12 I think) to the site, so click on over to "Photo Gallery" to check those out.

By the way, I've come up with an easier way to do the file download thing, so don't bother with what I've got posted there right now. Hopefully I'll have things reposted in an easier format this week.
